포털 사이트 이메일 셋팅 (Email Settings)

핸드폰이나 기타 프로그램 또는 어플에서 외부메일 불러올경우 수신메일서버 , 보내는메일서버 를 알아야되는데 각 포털에서 제공하긴 하지만 우리나라 경우

위 이미지 처럼 자동셋팅 방법으로만 지원되지 수동으로 입력할 경우 난감합니다. 서버의 연결포트가 몇인지..서버호스트 네임이 뭔지...알수 없기에

수동으로 등록 할경우 필요하게 되는데 혹시 나중에 필요차 백업 차원에서 포스팅 해놓습니다. 필요하신분은 보시고 참고하시기 바랍니다.

Android Phone

Daum Setup Step Process

1. Go to Android Home screen and open Email icon app.
2. Enter your daum.net email address and Daum email account password, then click Manual Setup button.
3. Select IMAP account.
4. Enter the following details on incoming server settings screen.
   

   Username: Your username
   Password: Your account password
   IMAP server: imap.hanmail.net
   Security type: SSL
   Port: 993

   Click Next Button

5. Enter the following details on outgoing server settings screen.

   SMTP server: smtp.hanmail.net
   Port: 465
   Security type: SSL

   Click Next Button

6. Select Email check frequency (preferably every 15 minutes).
7. Give your account name and Press Done.
8. Congratulations, Now you can send and receive daum.net email on your Android device.

iPhone Phone

Daum mail iPhone Setup Process

1. Go to iPhone settings option.
2. Scroll down and tab Mail, Contacts and Calendars option.
3. Choose Add Account available below iCloud tag and tab other (Other option only if your daum.net email provider not mentioned here.
4. Choose Add Mail Account and enter the following details.
   

   Name: Your Name (What ever you want)
   Email: Your username
   Password: Your daum.net account password
   Description: 
   

   Click Next Button

5. Choose IMAP under incoming mail server and enter the following details.
   

   Hostname: imap.hanmail.net
   Username: Your username
   Password: Your daum.net account password

6. Enter following details under outgoing mail server.
   

   Hostname: smtp.hanmail.net
   Username: Your username
   Password: Your daum.net account password
   

   Click Save Button

7. Go to settings > Your Daum account > Advanced and enter following details under incoming settings.
   

   Use SSL: Yes
   Authentication: Password
   Server Port: 993

8. Enter following details under outgoing settings.
   

   Use SSL: Yes
   Authentication: Password
   Server Port: 465

9. Congratulations, Now you can send and receive daum.net email on your iPhone device.

Outlook App

Daum Setup Step Process

1. Start Outlook software, click on File tab at top of the corner and then click Add Account.
2. Select Manual setup or additional server types.
3. Select POP or IMAP(connect to a POP and IMAP email account) option.
4. Enter the following details on POP and IMAP Account Settings page.
   

   User Information
   Your Name: What ever you want.
   Email Address: Enter your email address.
   

   Server Information:
   Account Type: Select IMAP
   Incoming mail server: imap.hanmail.net
   Outgoing mail server(SMTP): smtp.hanmail.net
   

   Logon Information:
   User Name: Your username
   Password: Your account password
   Check Remember password.
   

   Requred logon using secure password authentication: Yes

   Click Next Button

5. Wait for Outlook fetch all mails.
6. Congratulations, Now you can send and receive daum.net mail on your Outlook software.
